Artigianfer, partner of excellence
Greenhouse construction and sale since 1966
Artigianfer has been handing down the tradition of quality from father to son for three generations.
It is the history of the Cardelli family, a point of reference in Italy and abroad in the industrial greenhouse construction and sale.
Founded in 1966 in Pescia (Pistoia) by Virgilio Cardelli, Artigianfer has evolved from the first steel and glass greenhouses of the '60s and '70s to the most modern and complex technological greenhouses.
The company has contributed decisively to the development of modern greenhouses, and today is a leader in the turnkey greenhouse construction.
Artigianfer professional greenhouses are the first choice of a conscious and demanding customers, as in Italy as abroad.
Our history between innovation and tradition
Our history begins between the 50s and 60s with the construction of greenhouses made of steel and glass. Artigianfer was officially founded in 1966, thanks to its founder Virgilio Cardelli.
In the 1970s, Artigianfer give a substantial contribution to rural development programmes that involved projects and greenhouse investments throughout the territory of central and southern Italy. The company immediately invested in technology and in 1985, for the first time, carried out a project of 60 hectares turnkey greenhouse.
The '90s were particularly active for Artigianfer. In 1992, Artigianfer introduces Futura, the first iron/glass greenhouse in Italy with an opening roof, while in 1999 is launched the first Venlo glass greenhouse in Italy.
The 2000s began with the production of the first film industrial greenhouses and the launch of Termolux greenhouse, in 2018 the first to be equipped with a roof F-Clean.
2009 is the year when Artigianfer designs and produces the first photovoltaic greenhouse in Europe, becoming one a leader in the field of renewable energy.
In 2015 we patent the Teia photovoltaic greenhouse and in 2016 we launch Combilux greenhouse, extremely flexible and adaptable to any production and commercial needs.
In 2018 Artigianfer produces the largest eco-friendly technological greenhouse in Italy: 13 hectares for hydroponic horticultural production for Serra Agricola.
